Buzznet's Anime Queen Reviews Codename Sailor V(Manga Review)
Codename Sailor V Review
Hey everyone! Buzznet's Anime Queen here bringing you my first MANGA review!

Codename Sailor V is a magical girl manga by Naoko Takeuchi and is a PREQUEL to Sailor Moon. Unlike Sailor Moon,Codename Sailor V does not have an anime adaptation.Codename Sailor V follows the story of Minako Aino(Sailor Venus) before she joined Sailor Moon and the other scouts. Now I never read this when it first was released in fact I never knew it exsisted until much recently. The re-release was published by Kodansha Comics and is two volumes long. It is rated for ages 13+.
If you're a fan of Sailor Moon, this is worth checking out,but don't expect the greatness of Sailor Moon. I think the reason Sailor Moon stands out is because of all the great characters. Minako is a great character but she's ONE. While i was reading this I could see(especially volume two's final chapter) Naoko had Sailor Moon Planned.
Overall this feels more like a police detective manga then a magical girl one but if you're curious to what Minako was like before she awoke as a senshi check this out. Naoko's art is pretty and the story decent. There's humour, romance and a few tearjerking moments. Overall it grades as a B-.
Until next time readers! This is buzznet's anime queen signing off!
